Health Care Law

Tressler Law LLC assists individual physicians, practice groups, physician organizations and other Health Care providers and suppliers in taking advantage of the opportunities to maximize their potential by advising them on the ever-changing legal and regulatory framework of Health Care law. By keeping our clients abreast of the legal developments that can affect their medical practices, we create a synergy with them that enables us to offer practical, cost-effective, short term and permanent solutions so they can focus on the needs of their patients. Only by understanding the business of our health care clients can Tressler Law LLC focus on the legal issues that those clients will face and offer the type of proactive advice on which foster and strengthen long-term relationships.

Advising Our Clients on a Broad Range of Legal Issues

Health care providers are constantly presented with a myriad of legal issues which — if not handled quickly, efficiently and correctly — can affect and distract a medical practice. Whether offering our expertise on an employment agreement, restrictive covenant, separation agreement, provider agreement, affiliation agreement, lease agreement, joint venture opportunity, drafting of corporate by-laws or licensure issue, Tressler Law LLC is prepared to address the legal needs of our clients.
Tressler Law LLC routinely advises health care providers and groups, beginning with their pre-operational start-up planning and corporate structuring through all facets of business planning and succession, practice acquisitions, capital financing, employment, Stark Law, Fraud and Abuse Analysis, Anti-Kickback compliance, equipment and real estate leasing, ancillary entity creation, and other issues related to the business side of a medical practice.

A Diversity of Professional Experience

We have been involved in some of the most noteworthy health care industry projects in Northeastern Pennsylvania, including: serving as legal counsel to a 150-member independent physician organization that partnered with a large health insurance company; acting as counsel for a physician-owned ambulatory surgery center; and serving as counsel for a large multi-specialty group with several ancillary businesses. As a value-added service, we regularly speak to the medical community about significant health care law topics and developments.
